Fun February!

We have gotten A LOT of snow here in Kansas this winter. Last year I think we got one or two storms, this year I can't even count how many we have had. The problem with all of these storms is that it is WAY TOO cold to go out and play in it- unlike Colorado! So the boys have only gone out to play in the snow a couple of times. James finally has some snow boots and gloves, so he got to go out and enjoy the snow with his brothers. James and Shawn building a football in the snow, it was right before the Super Bowl.
Here is Mikey building a huge snowman.
Here they are rolling a big ball!

SMILE!! Say cheese and crackers! That is what we say to James to get him to look at the camera and smile, he also says "Cheese and Crackers"

They didn't last too long outside, Shawn and James came in and Mikey stayed out to finish his snowman. Mikey asked Chris to come out and help him get the next big snow ball on top of the larger one, well when Chris lifted it it fell apart so Mikey got discouraged. We told him to build a new one. He decided tat he would just karate chop the big ball he already had and jump kick into it, it was pretty funny to watch and he had a lot of fun. He built up the pile a few times so he could keep showing us his "moves".

James is throwing a snow ball at Shawn.

Here is the cake that we made for the Super Bowl, I made the cake and the boys decorated it. We were obviously going for the Saints. We had several families over from our ward and had a great time watching the commercials and chatting while the kids ran around like crazy in the basement and the men actually watched the game.

Mikey isn't too fond of many sports, so he was going for whatever team everyone else was not.

Cute James with his boots, gloves and a soccer ball.

I didn't take many pictures on Valentines Day, but the ones I did take were of James helping make heart sugar cookies for the boys classroom parties. He had a great time and was a big help. (Rolling the dough)

Cutting the cookies

Putting them on the pan.
