Time flies

Mature Shawn:)
Adorable Smile

I can not believe how fast time goes by, my little baby is already almost 18 months and not my little baby anymore and as for my big baby, my oldest, Shawn, he will be 12 in a couple of days.

Lucas is so darn cute right now, he is doing so much and his facial features are adorable. I think the best thing about him is his amazing smile, everyone that sees it says it is the cutest thing and I agree. It totally brightens up any mood I am in if he smiles at me, you just can't help but smile back when he shows those cute teeth and those adorable dimples:)

He loves animals right now. His favorite is cows, mainly because he knows how to say "MOO" when he sees one, so he says that about horses and zebras too they are all "Moo". Very Cute! He also knows "ruff ruff", but it doesn't really sound like that, but I know what he means, he loves dogs from a distance, but not so much up close. He runs all around the house trying to keep up with all the boys it is so cute, but he also falls a lot because he gets ahead of himself. He loves to play in the older boys rooms, if you don't see him he is usually in one of there rooms playing with something he shouldn't be. He is getting so big, when I look at him when he is asleep in his crib he doesn't look like a baby anymore, he is so long and broad. I am having a lot of fun with him, but the other boys usually seem to get annoyed with him, especially James, Lucas is always wanting to play with him and James is way too much of a control freak so Lucas doesn't do anything right so he just wants him to go away, Poor Lucas, hopefully James will enjoy playing with him soon, so they can have fun together more often.

As for Shawn, I just can't believe how fast he is growing. I am amazed how grown up he is starting to look and act (which I am not that thrilled about the teenage attitude-but I guess that is what I am about to get a lot more of). He is so responsible and takes care of himself and others well, unless he is in a mood. But for the most part he is pretty dependable, and I appreciate that a lot. He just made the Basketball team at his middle school so that is exciting, we are proud of him for going out of his comfort zone and trying out and doing the best he could and making it, he was very happy as well. He will be getting the priesthood on Sunday and I am absolutely astonished at that, he is my little boy and now he will have such a great power and authority and I hope that we can be good examples to him so that he will be able to portray that authority well.
