Spring Break Almost over

Well, I have not taken any pictures in awhile, so this will just have to be text for once. We just had a very long spring break with the kids. They had all last week off and today off, so a total of 10 days now- wow. Actually that is why I am writing today to say how impressed I am with my boys, they were pretty good, considering the lame spring break that they had. We were thinking that we might go to Colorado and see some family while Chris worked, but that did not work out so we just stayed here and Chris was gone half the week. So I tried to entertain them- I am not so good at it right now since I am 7 1/2 months pregnant, so I am happy with the way they were. Luckily they had good friends to play with and nice weather almost all week so they could play outside and not be cooped up in the house the whole time. Maybe that is why it seemed like such a great week, they were outside a lot of the time and occupied with friends:) I just want to say how blessed I am to have three wonderful boys and another one on the way, this little guy inside is a kicking, flipping machine, so I assume he will be just as active and rambunctious as the others. I am also very excited about Spring, even though on the first day of Spring here it snowed like 7 inches, but it is all melting quickly and looks to be a warm week. I can't wait for the green grass and flowers and the sunny days so I can go walking outside, instead of my lame workout videos that I do everyday. YEA Spring!!! And that means closer to my delivery date, I will be having my scheduled c-section on May 17th, counting down the days. I wish you all a beautiful Spring as well.

Blue and Gold Banquet

We had a lot of fun at the Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. The theme was 'The County Fair' They had a lot of fun games and good food and they had a band playing (a loud Irish band, but a band none the less, too bad it wasn't today, it would have worked out well). James is watching all the festivities going on all round him.

He really wanted to throw the ball at the cans. While they were getting ready and we had to sit through awards he was inching his way over to the balls the whole time. He finally got a turn and got a little prize as well.

I love his sweet little innocent face- even though it is not so innocent these days, he is quite the trouble maker at times.

He is trying to paint on the plate, since we would not let him paint on his own face after he got a soccer ball painted on his face.

Here is Scott finishing up the soccer ball that James could not sit still for the first time. He did get it done though. It looked good, it matched his blue shirt and jacket.

The boys had to wait in line to get their awards, before they got their awards they had to pick an animal picture off the fence and answer the question that was on the back. It was fun to get to hear the boys answers, some were really funny. Here is Mikey answering his question. Mikey didn't remember his question, and neither did I. Sorry

Shawn answering his question, it was "What is your favorite thing to wear?" he said " Soccer clothes" he loves to wear soccer clothes and that is all, it was all we could do to get him in jeans for this night.

Shawn getting his awards, he got a few different pins for Webelos.

Chris enjoying a bite of cotton candy- I hate the stuff personally, but all of my boys seem to love it.

Shawn looking good in his uniform, and eating cotton candy.

They had hot dogs for dinner and I think Mikey ate at least 4 that I know of- gross!! That kid can eat, he also had a few cotton candies, and some desserts when we had those later- WOW.

Chris going after Shawn's cotton candy, watch out, when dad wants something he will get it!

I think this is James' first experience with cotton candy. He really enjoyed it

James, Chris and I down at the farm!

They had a dessert contest that night ( I did not submit anything, other wise I would have won-haha) But three of my good friends did and they all three won, way to go Becca-3rd, Trina-2nd, and Carolyn 1st.

Enjoying some yummy Chocolate cupcakes.

What a sweet picture, I love my boys very much.

Here they all are down at the farm.

Here I am 6 months pregnant, now I am seven months pregnant and I am counting down the days. We will be having the c-section on May 17th.

This picture is kind of scary and kind of cute so I had to throw it in here

So long for now Everyone, hope you had a great St. Patrick's Day!

Grandma Becky and Uncle Nick Visit!

Here are some fun photos while we had Becky and Nick at our house a couple weeks ago. They got here on Valentines Day, Chris got the boys these very large heart suckers (much to my dismay- I hate sticky boys) but they seem to be enjoying them. I did not let them finish them, they were way too big. What a mean mom I am.
Crazy Mike There are a lot of James playing soccer, but they were so funny that I had to put a lot of them in, I hope you enjoy them, I will not write on all of them though. He loves wearing gloves so he can be goalie, these ones are Nick's giant ones and they look pretty funny on his little arms.

These are Nerf gun glasses that Mikey got with his Nerf guns, James thought they were pretty cool.

This is such a funny stance, but it is his attack stance before he goes after you and screams "Attack!" It is hilarious. He also did it when he was going after the ball, we thought it looked a lot like when the speed ice skaters would get ready to start their races, since the Olympics were on every night, maybe he picked it up.

After a lot of "attacks" and a lot of soccer- he was pooped!

The boys hanging out at the table eating cookies

We wanted another shot with everyone but Shawn got shy and hid in his hoodie for awhile, so we never got it.
wrong way sweetie, oh well- still cute!

James really wanted the gun, but Nick was trying to get it ready for him, he is really not very patient at all these days.

Clone trooper

Getting into the Nerf Gun wars, or at least trying, I don't think he can even lift that gun for very long, it is pretty heavy.

Uncle Nick and James, hangin' out.

"Let's do 1..2..3" That is what he calls it when 2 people swing him, pretty adorable. And then he says "again" over and over.

James is throwing money into the fountain, I gave him all my pennies and nickels, it still wasn't enough. You can almost see my preggo belly.

We took James back to the Dinosaur place, as he has been wanting to go for quite sometime. But we made it into the front door and he started freaking out so we had to turn around and leave, this was the best we could do. I think it is a great picture of the boys though.

Here the boys are loading up for their Nerf Gun Wars. There were so many of them while Nick was here. Nick got Mikey another Nerf Gun for x-mas and they had a war almost every night, there were little Nerf darts all over my house for days, I finally think I got them all though.

James is sporting my new boots that I bought, he loves to wear shoes no matter whose they are.

Grandma Becky got James a new big boy potty so we can start thinking about potty training, but I am in no hurry to start that, but it is nice to have it around to talk about and maybe try once in awhile here and there.
We have not used it yet,he does like to sit on it and read books so I guess he has the right concept:)

Pinewood Derby and awards

Here are the pics from our Pinewood Derby in January, I am a bit behind with these pics. I did have them on my facebook account right after though. I thought I better put them on the blog as well. Every boy had their picture taken in front of the poster for the slide show.
I couldn't get Shawn to smile, he did smile for the one for the slide show though and I saw it and it was much better, but this picture fits him as well.
James was feeling left out so he went over and said "take my picture too" So of course I had to. He is so darn cute!!

Mikey earned his Wolf badge and several arrow points already and a bunch of belt loops too, he is doing great, it does help to have wonderful Den leaders, they do such a wonderful job.

Shawn advanced to Webelos, here he is getting his new neckerchief and slide from his leaders.

Shawn's Car

Mikey's Car

I love Mikey's face after he won this race and his hands, it was fun to watch, we were a bit worried for his car since the wheels were falling off right before and they didn't line it up right and it didn't move the first time they started, so Chris had to tell them to put the wheel on the track the right way. It all turned out well in the end!!

Shawn and Mike both made it to the quarterfinals and raced against each other, we weren't sure who would win but in the end Mikey was the one that came in first, it was a very close race, if you can tell the two closest to them are their cars.

All the scouts and their cars

Shawn got his little participant award and a little prize.

Mikey got THIRD in the whole troop!!!! The top three got these cool winners belts. GO MIKEY!!!

Here are the top three winners

Way to go Mikey, he was so excited to win the cool belt, he took it to school the next day to share with his class.
