Go Mikey!

Here is Mikey getting his Bear kerchief, he is now a Bear in the Cub scout program, I can't believe how old he is getting. He really enjoys going to scouts and being with his friends.
He also got the Language belt loop

When we joined the gym and they have a rock wall there so we got Mikey into rock climbing lessons. He had a hard time going up the wall very far, but he really loved the bouldering part. Here he is bouldering through an obstacle course they made up on his last lesson. The pictures are backwards, sorry about that. Start at the bottom and come up and see him go through it.

It's Another BOY!!!

We are so blessed to have another beautiful baby boy in our family. I can't be more happy with our new addition, Lucas Matthew. He is so sweet and cute and has a very good disposition (so far). Mommy and daddy before I went in for my C-section
Lucas weighed 8lbs and 15 oz, our smallest one yet.
He was 20 1/2 in long.
Love at first sound, and then sight:) I love that sound of the baby crying and since I can't see anything going on over the drape that sound is such a comfort. And then when they bring him over to me it is even better.

Words can not describe.

Proud mommy!
Proud daddy

So excited to finally meet their new brother.

What a good looking group of boys.

I love this picture of James reaching for him, so sweet, he was so excited to hold his baby brother. He calls him "my baby".

Sweet kisses, that is a great picture, thank you Becky for taking it:)

The proud oldest brother

Cute brothers.

Say cheese.

A huge thank you to grandma Becky for coming to help with the boys while we were in the hospital, it was nice to know everything was running at the house without me.

Our first family photo

Coming home, they all came to greet him, not so much me but the new baby, that is OK- they see me all the time')

"I want to hold him, I want to hold him", that is what they were all saying as soon as we got home. Shawn trys to be cool about the whole thing, but he really loves to hold him and help out.

James is so cute he says "Awww, little baby uke" almost every time he comes up to him, he loves to hold his hands and kiss his head.

Sweet older brother Mikey. He is very sweet to watch hold him as well, he loves o hold his little hands and talk to him and just be very sweet.

Shawn's Soccer Tournaments

Well I finally have pictures from all the tournaments Shawn has been in. I have not exactly been the most with it mother lately, so I always forget my camera. One of the other moms was so kind to get these to me so I have some documentation of all his success:) The first tournament of the season was in Topeka, it was called the Governor's Cup. They made it to the finals and lost 6-7. They played really hard and did a great job for their first tournament playing up a year.
Finalist in Governor's Cup- KC Comets Select

They were in another tournament called the Emerald Cup
Good kick Shawn!

Go get it!!

They won the tournament!!! Way to go guys!

So excited!
The champions of the Emerald Cup- KC Comets Select

Good job Shawn, you played a great game!

Mikey has a lot of fun playing around the fields and on the extra nets that they have lined up around the fields. All the siblings get along pretty well and have a lot of fun together.
Hiding behind the net.

Lounging during the games, tournaments are very long weekends for these guys, they are good sports every time.

James is by far the center of attention for all the siblings, he is kind of like the mascot of the team.
James loves to play with Kennedy and Claire

He loves to play soccer with Kennedy. He always asks if Kennedy is going to be there when we are on our way to the games.

James with the girls- Claire, Shelby and Kennedy

That is quite a grumpy face, but he usually loves hanging with the girls.

This is the Comets at the State Championship.
They made it into the finals at this tournament as well, they lost in double overtime, it was a very intense ending. They played really great and then I think they were a bit tired by the end. By the end they only had one sub and the other team had 5.

Good job boys, you played a great game and it was so much fun to watch.

Their coach was given a MVP medal and he chose to give it to James. We had to sit out in the rain for a whole game and it was miserable and he was a good sport through it all.

Happy Mothers Day!

I had a great Mothers Day this year. I am so blessed to have three great boys and a wonderful husband. Chris made me a great breakfast in the morning, and he did all the dishes and he and the boys cleaned up the house. I got a card from all the boys even our new arrival (sorry we still haven't decided on a name yet) we will let you know when we know. I love me boys so very much, it makes me so happy to see all their smiling faces and to have them cuddle up next to me. It does not happen very often that I get all three of them to do that. The older two rarely cuddle anymore.

These are the flowers that the boys got me on Saturday, Chris also made me a great steak dinner on Saturday night. He made me dinner on Sunday as well, he was really good to me all weekend. Thanks honey!!

My cute baby James, won't be the baby much longer, and I think he knows it too, he is really intuitive about the whole baby thing, I think he knows things are about to get very different, and I don't think he likes it.
