Shawn's Soccer Tournaments

Well I finally have pictures from all the tournaments Shawn has been in. I have not exactly been the most with it mother lately, so I always forget my camera. One of the other moms was so kind to get these to me so I have some documentation of all his success:) The first tournament of the season was in Topeka, it was called the Governor's Cup. They made it to the finals and lost 6-7. They played really hard and did a great job for their first tournament playing up a year.

They were in another tournament called the Emerald Cup
Good kick Shawn!

Go get it!!

They won the tournament!!! Way to go guys!

So excited!

Good job Shawn, you played a great game!

Mikey has a lot of fun playing around the fields and on the extra nets that they have lined up around the fields. All the siblings get along pretty well and have a lot of fun together.
Hiding behind the net.

Lounging during the games, tournaments are very long weekends for these guys, they are good sports every time.

James is by far the center of attention for all the siblings, he is kind of like the mascot of the team.
James loves to play with Kennedy and Claire

He loves to play soccer with Kennedy. He always asks if Kennedy is going to be there when we are on our way to the games.

That is quite a grumpy face, but he usually loves hanging with the girls.

This is the Comets at the State Championship.
They made it into the finals at this tournament as well, they lost in double overtime, it was a very intense ending. They played really great and then I think they were a bit tired by the end. By the end they only had one sub and the other team had 5.

Good job boys, you played a great game and it was so much fun to watch.

Their coach was given a MVP medal and he chose to give it to James. We had to sit out in the rain for a whole game and it was miserable and he was a good sport through it all.
